Round 1 (Pick 2)

Cam Ward (QB) Miami

The Browns select Cam Ward #2 overall. The 6'2 quarterback out of Miami put together a tremendous Senior season at Miami this past year. The Browns land their franchise quarterback and hope to build around him for the future. Ward threw for 39 touchdowns and 4,313 yards this past season and finished as a finalist for the Heisman. Ward is regarded as the top quarterback prospect in the Draft and has a very high ceiling. The Browns are getting a combination of elite arm talent, mobility, and high IQ.

Round 2 (Pick 33)

Walter Nolen (DT) Ole Miss

Walter Nolen slips out of Round 1 and falls right into the Brown's lap. The 6'3, 305 pound, defensive tackle is a dominant force on the defensive line and upgrades Cleveland's trenches immediately. Nolen spent time at Texas A&M before transferring to Ole Miss, where he put together a great Junior season. Nolen now pairs up with Michael Hall Jr to make the Browns defensive line even more explosive. At 33, Nolen is not only a steal but the best player available, and the Browns don't think twice about this selection.

Round 3 (Pick 67)

TreyVeyon Henderson (RB) Ohio State

The Browns running game in 2024 was never successful, with Nick Chubb dealing with injuries and Offensive Coordinator Ken Dorsey running a pass-heavy offense. The Browns and Kevin Stefanski look to go back to the run in 2025 and get a new back to do it. TreyVeyon Henderson is fresh off a National Championship and an outstanding senior season. The OSU back is regarded as one of this Draft Class's best and most explosive backs. The 5'10, 208 pound, back shows exceptional balance and breakaway speed. The significant play threat will give Cleveland some much-needed talent in the backfield for years to come.

Round 3 (Pick 97)

Malachi Moore (S) Alabama

The Browns decide to draft Alabama's Malachi Moore at the backend of Round 3. Talented safety can play multiple roles and positions on defense, giving Jim Schartwz versatility in the secondary. Moore showcases excellent ball skills along with a high football IQ to be successful at the next level. Browns have been disappointed with Juan Thornhill's ability to stay healthy, and Moore gives them a younger and cheaper option to move on from Thornhill.

Round 3 (Pick 104)

Elijah Arroyo (TE) Miami

The Browns pair Cam Ward with his college teammate. Arroyo, with his 6'4, 245-pound frame, has elite athleticism to dominate at the NFL level. Pairing him up with another Hurricane great in David Njoku would be a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. The Browns desperately need TE depth, and Arroyo fills that need. Some minor injury concerns and mediocre blocking skills make him available for the Browns on Day 3.

Round 5 (Pick 165)

Jeffrey Basa (LB) Oregon

With the unfortunate and uncertain situation surrounding Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah, the Browns decide to draft Jeffrey Basa to fill that role alongside Jordan Hicks. Bassa is a versatile LB who has previously played safety. At 6'2, 235 pounds, Bassa has excellent coverage skills and can drop back into coverage to defend the pass. A great tackler who has had 187 tackles in the last 3 years at Oregon comes to Cleveland with a history as a signal caller.

Round 6 (Pick 181)

Pat Bryant (WR) Illinois

The Browns WR room in 2024 was somewhat disappointing despite the inconsistent QB play. Jerry Jeudy had a breakout season, and after that, there isn't much to look forward to. Cedric Tillman showed flashes before suffering a severe concussion, but guys like Elijah Moore and Jamari Thrash couldn't find their groove. Pat Bryant gives the Browns great size and elite separation to get open for whoever is at QB. With a great frame, Bryant showcases natural hands and the ability to create YAC. Jeudy and Bryant could be the WR1 and WR2 in Cleveland for years.

Round 6 (Pick 194)

Ozzy Trapilo (OT) Boston College

Jedrick Wills seems to be on his way out of Cleveland after a disappointing tenure in Cleveland. Dawand Jones started to play well in his new LT role before suffering a season-ending injury in Week 11. Browns go with Ozzy Trapilo, the massive 6'8, 309 pound, tackle out of Boston College. Trapilo was a monster in the passing game last season and played both LT and RT in college. Trapilo also shows durability by playing complete game snap counts and plays through the whistle. Cleveland needs more depth on the offensive line, and Trapilo fills that need.

Round 6 (Pick 202)

Jabbar Muhammad (CB) Oregon

With question marks long-term in the Browns CB room with Greg Newsome and Martin Emerson, the Browns select Jabbar Muhammad. Muhammad spent his senior season at Oregon after transferring from Washington. At 5'10, 185 pounds, he's a bit undersized but is fundamentally sound and has excellent ball skills. In Round 6, the Browns take a chance on a highly touted player coming into the season who can be a steal of the Draft.

Round 6 (Pick 216)

Seth McLaughlin (C) Ohio State

The Browns continue to bolster the offensive line and select Seth McLaughlin. Seth transferred to Ohio State this past season and was having a great start to his senior season until he tore his achilles in practice and was out the remainder of the season. McLaughlin showed flashes of being a great Center at the next level, with great football IQ and short-area quickness to execute pull-blocking schemes. At the end of Round 6, the Browns added much-needed depth behind Ethan Pocic.

Round 6 (Pick 217)

Jah Joyner (EDGE) Minnesota

With back-to-back picks in Round 6, the Browns select an explosive edge rusher out of Minnesota. Joyner, at 6'5, 265 pounds, is of excellent size and has a massive pass-rush toolbox to win at the point of attack. Joyner was a two-time All BIG10 honorable mention and another edge rusher to pair with Myles Garrett and the rest of the Browns defensive line. A Boom-or-Bust prospect fell to Cleveland in Round 6.

Round 7 (Pick 257)

Brashard Smith (RB) SMU

With the final pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Browns take their 2nd RB of the Draft. As mentioned earlier, the Browns running game needs to be completely retooled, and after selecting TreyVeyon Henderson earlier, the Browns took Brashard Smith to strengthen the room. Smith comes in at 5'10, 196 pounds, with explosive acceleration and elite top-end speed. Smith can also be a receiver out of the backfield who creates matchup problems for the defense. The Browns might have found a hidden gem with the last selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
